Changes for 2026
Helmets
All competitors must bring their helmet to the sign-on area for inspection.
Helmets will be checked when you sign-on.
Your helmet must have a valid ACU Gold sticker affixed. Riders without a valid sticker will not be permitted to compete and will be turned away.
Safety Notice
Chin straps on helmets must be fastend at all times
Body Protection
It is also compulsory that riders wear, as a minimum, back and chest protectors, incorporated within the suit or worn separately. Body armour checks will take place whilst riders are on the start line.
Riding in the pits
Riders must maintain a walking pace at all times in the pits and follow designated riding lanes where applicable.
Pre 80 machines
We are introducing a Pre 80 class
Marshalls Draw
This year we are introducing a Marshalls draw as a token of appreciation for the efforts of our marshalls.
Entries taken over the phone
all telephone entries will be sent a secure payment link and must be paid in advance of the event.
Aggressive Behaviour
Aggressive behaviour towards club officials WILL NOT BE TOLERATED, any rider found doing this will be asked to leave the event
Pre 84 age related races
On the grounds of safety, due to the numbers in our Pre 84 age related races we have changed the over 60s to over 58 and depending on the numbers on the day the race orders may be changed.
Refund of Entry policy
If you enter and event and do not appear. You will only get your money refunded or carried forward to the next event, if you contact the secretary prior the event, or on the day of the event (leave a message on the her answer machine) other wise your cheque will be cashed.
Cameras
Just a little reminder guys Helmet cameras and cameras attached to the body are Prohibited unless the helmet is manufactured with the camera as an intrinsic part.
Age Related Races
Where a rider can qualify for two age groups within a year, riders must start and end the year in the same age group. (Rider’s choice which group)
